University of Southern California Atmos Studio

The jewel of USC Thornton School of Music is the new 9.1.4 Atmos mixing studio. Truly a state-of-the-art studio for teaching the highest level of immersive mixing for music, television and film.
MW Audio Visual designed and built the facility. Dolby Labs teamed up with MW Audio Visual and tuned the room to the most stringent Dolby spec. This is a Dante based system allowing us to send multi-track audio anywhere on the network. We used the new Avid Matrix II interface with 64-in and 32-out for large mixes. The PMC 6-2 monitor system is top-of-the-line and routed with DADman control. The studio is now being used by some of the top producers in the world.

Google Studios Playa Vista, CA

Top U.S. ad agency, 72 and Sunny hired MW Audio Visual to design and build one of the premier production facilities in Los Angeles. A campus wide project which consists of a state-of-the-art surround-sound post-production studio and mixing stage. A second recording/post surround studio is connected by fiber and Dante. Two large vocal booths are positioned between the two studios. The audio facility is second to none.
Thirteen 4K video edit bays were built to Michael Warren's design.
All thirteen edit bays are connected via a fiber SAN. Communication throughout the entire campus is flawless via Dante and shared storage and media.

Laugh Factory Hollywood and Long Beach

The laugh factory recently recieved an audio renovation in both the
Hollywood and Long Beach clubs. MW Audio Visual developed the design and installed the new rig. The goal was pure intelligibilty at every seat. We replaced the old analog mixers with new digital consoles allowing for complete flexibility and the ability to program and recall different shows. The amps and speakers were also upgraded with Crown and JBL. Speakers were re-positioned for better acoustics in the rooms. Overall each of the upgrade paths led to a wonderful audio experience for the patrons and the comedians.

Live House Hollywood Concert Hall

Renowned contemporary music college Musicians Institute is introducing Live House! A brand new performance complex in the heart of Hollywood, including a high-end 500 capacity performance venue that can be turned into broadcast TV studio. Equipped with a 24' x 17' HD video wall, Eight HD PTZ cameras, Blackmagic Atem broadcast switcher, Yamaha CL5 mixing console, Nexo Line Array, Pro Tools HD 64-Channel recording system, Chauvet lighting system and so much more. A 96-channel Dante system can handle any tour. A welcoming lobby area with a small performance stage is equipped with a 24-channel digital mixer with JBL speakers and subs.

Modera Nightclub Hollywood, CA

We recently completed this one-of-a-kind venue in the heart of Hollywood. Michael Warren designed a modern nightclub with a throwback to the 70's. You'll be seeing this space in TV and movies soon. Designed as both a live performance and media lounge, Modera Hollywood has it all. Incredible Design, Fantastic Sound, Awesome Lighting, Visually Stunning.
