MW Audio outfits state-of-the-art project studio for leading composer and sound designer Jeffery Alan Jones
“MW Audio is 100% solid – if I need anything Michael Warren is immediately on top of it.” November 2005
Marina Del Rey, CA: MW Audio recently supplied an array of production equipment and acoustic-treatment products to a stunning new project facility for composer/sound designer Jeffery Alan Jones in midtown Hollywood. Alan Audio Works is a full service music and audio production facility that comprises a large, 350-square foot mix room with 5.1-channel surround monitoring, linked to a voice-over booth and two tracking rooms. The project involved extensive acoustic treatment for the new project studio, including sound isolation. Also provided were a number of high-end microphones, pre-amplifiers and monitor systems, which are being used to augment Jones’ existing Digidesign Pro Tools|HD-3 Digital Audio Workstation and accessories.

One of the first projects completed in the Alan Audio Works facility was a complete sound design and mix for “Disaster,” director Roy Wood’s new Claymation feature film produced by Dream Entertainment, with music from heavy-metal legends Motley Crue. “The live tracking rooms and vocal booths sound great,” enthuses owner Jeffery Alan Jones. “MW Audio is 100% solid – if I need anything [company president] Michael Warren is immediately on top of it.” Acoustic treatment includes MW Audio-supplied Auralex Acoustics ELiTE B24 fiberglass Pro Panels.
